Why should I recycle?
On average a UK household produces over one tonne of rubbish a year.

You can help to reduce the amount of waste you produce and recycle more, so that less waste goes to landfill.

Warrington residents are currently recycling and composting over 32% of their household waste, but the remaining is still going to landfill. We still need to work together to continue to increase recycling and reduce the amount of waste we produce.

We have now introduced our three bin refuse and recycling scheme

We want residents to take part in our waste consultation this summer.

Gone are the days when we can simply fill up our bins with whatever we like and leave it out for collection. We all need to think about how much waste we produce, how much we can recycle and find alternatives to landfill.
